    The deep-bed filter works with a flat transport chain, which forms a trough in the middle. The filter paper/filter fleece is located on this chain. The contaminated medium runs onto the filter fleece and is distributed in the filter trough. The particles are retained in the trough so that the clean liquid flows back into the system. The filter fleece is utilized particularly efficiently thanks to the deep trough. The deep-bed filter also has an automatic fleece feed. The system is characterized by long maintenance intervals and is designed to be extremely service-friendly.

    The extremely flat design of the deep-bed filter enables the contaminated liquid to be easily removed from the processing machine, even with low outlet heights (typically only 300 to 400 millimetres). No lifting pumps are required, making the system extremely energy-efficient.

Properties

The filter system is equipped with a flat transport chain that forms a trough in the middle on which the filter paper rests. The liquid runs onto the filter fleece and is distributed in the trough. The particles are retained in the trough so that the clean liquid runs back into the system. The deep trough makes particularly efficient use of the filter fleece. The filter has an automatic fleece feed. With the help of a sensor, the system recognizes when the liquid level in the filter trough reaches a certain level and a new filter fleece needs to be fed in.

If maintenance is required, a signal is sent at an early stage, enabling the operating personnel to change the fleece without interrupting the filtration process. The system is extremely easy to maintain, rarely requires manual cleaning and contributes to the automatic operation of the filter. This guarantees a high level of process reliability.

Particularly noteworthy is the sensor technology integrated into the system, including a robust level sensor system that is extremely resistant to wear, contamination and adhesion. The system is particularly suitable for use in Industry 4.0.
The choice of suitable filter fleece determines the filter fineness and is precisely matched to the fluid and material to be filtered - ensuring maximum flexibility.

  • System description

    The complete deep-bed filter system has a very shallow tank, which ensures that it can be fed freely from the processing machine. The tank is equipped with a fill level sensor system that monitors and regulates the switching of the processing machine pumps and visually indicates the fill level of the tank. The design of the tank and the water flow are such that any dripping or dirty water is automatically directed into the tank.

    The tank system is designed in such a way that the stable, solid tank edge is used to individually attach various add-on and superstructure parts such as cooling and exhaust air systems as well as valve blocks. The system has a fill level monitoring system that is visible from the outside and is also integrated into the fill level sensor. This makes it easy to recognize when the system contains too little fluid and needs to be refilled.

    In addition, the system has an electrical link through which the processing machine requests coolant. The pump only goes into operation when it is necessary for the process.

    The system is equipped to meet the user's requirements. The system is either electrically equipped in the simpler basic version or with various electrical components. These include, for example, Harding connections and various monitoring systems to ensure that the filter system communicates intelligently with the processing machine.
