Compact filter - maximum filter performance in minimum space

The compact filter is designed for the filtration of oil, water, emulsion and aqueous solutions, ensuring maximum filtration performance in the smallest possible space. The compact filter works even with high dirt loads. A liter capacity of 30 to 1,500 l/min is achieved. Thanks to innovative technical functions and a well thought-out design, the compact filter ensures process reliability over the entire service life of the connected processing machine.

    The system is an innovative combination of a trough and inclined bed filter. Thanks to a filter fleece that is individually adapted to your processes and a fully automated, demand-controlled fleece feed, the compact filter ensures optimum utilization of the filter consumables. The C-shaped conveyor belt creates a deep filter trough inside the compact filter, which increases the filter surface for oil and media filtration. The resulting high water column and the resulting high hydrostatic water pressure promote the formation of an excellent dry filter cake. The compact filter therefore enables precise fine filtration and reduces disposal costs.

    The technologically defined discharge slope prevents the particles from falling back into the dirty liquid in the cooling lubricant filter. Furthermore, the build-up of a dry filter cake contributes significantly to minimizing the disposal costs of the filtration process. These properties make the compact filter extremely efficient and sustainable.

Properties

The compact filter combines the trough filter and inclined bed filter systems in such a way that a large amount of liquid is filtered sustainably and without the need for additional auxiliary energy in a very small installation space. The filter works with a filter fleece that is individually adapted to the requirements of the production process and ensures efficient use of the filter consumables thanks to the fully automated, demand-oriented fleece feed.

The conveyor belt for the filter fleece is C-shaped. This creates a filter trough inside the compact filter. Thanks to this special design, the filter surface for the filtration of oil and other media is particularly large. The formation of a dry filter cake minimizes disposal and recycling costs.

    The compact filter is equipped with a combined guide and sealing system made of special plastic, which ensures that no medium runs past the sides of the guide rails. The use of a filter fleece, which is advanced fully automatically as required and used across almost the entire width, enables the system to achieve optimum utilization and reduces the consumption of filter material and the associated costs. The selection of the appropriate filter fleece is individually adapted to the requirements of your process.

    The transport chain ensures that the fleece is loaded with a high dirt load without any dynamic load of its own, while still guaranteeing full functionality. The inclination of the filter's discharge slope is designed to enable optimum discharge even with high chip volumes, such as those found in aluminum processing, and thus achieve the best possible filter result. We also offer the compact filter in a stainless steel version to ensure reliable use even in processes with acidic or alkaline solutions.

  • Option: Fleece winding

    As an option, the filter can be equipped with a fleece winder, which separates the filter cake from the filter fleece and then recycles it. This not only helps to save disposal costs, but also supports environmental protection and resource conservation.

    The choice of the right filter fleece is decisive for the filter fineness and is precisely matched to the fluid and material to be filtered in order to ensure the highest quality with maximum flexibility.

    The entire system is fully monitored and includes limit switches that indicate when a filter fleece has been used up and a new one needs to be fitted as a precaution. The compact filter is therefore suitable for a continuous filter process, increases machine availability and reduces your personnel costs at the same time.

    The design of the tank and the water flow are such that any dripping or dirty water is automatically returned to the tank.

  • System: Tank for the compact filter variant

    The tank for the compact filter attachment is equipped with integrated eyelets for transportation. The support feet are arranged so that the filter can be easily moved to the installation site using a pallet truck or forklift. The filter can be positioned flexibly both lengthways and crossways and very close to the processing machine. This makes optimum use of the available space. You benefit from the small footprint required.

    The tank system is designed so that the stable, solid edge of the tank can be used individually to attach various customer-specific attachments or superstructures (cooling, exhaust air systems, valve blocks). The system has a fill level monitor that is visible from the outside and is also integrated in the fill level sensor. This makes it easy to recognize when the system contains too little fluid and needs to be refilled.
    Thanks to the high filter fineness of the compact filter, the use of high-pressure pumps (IKZ) with a pump capacity of up to 120 bar is also effectively possible. In addition, all pumps are equipped with a frequency converter so that they always provide the optimum pressure depending on demand. This makes the system particularly energy-efficient, cost-saving and sustainable.

    Various switching valves, flow monitoring systems and sensors can be integrated on request. Depending on requirements, the system can be equipped with additional active or passive cooling systems. The cooling systems are designed according to requirements, i.e. tailored precisely to the application. Particular attention is paid to energy and cost efficiency. The filter is individually adapted to the customer's existing processing machine (e.g. with lifting station), so we generate the perfect system for every application.
    The entire system is a plug-and-play system, which means that it is immediately and easily set up for operation using a defined plug connector.

    The machine coupling is designed so that both the clean and dirty lines are made available via a central media plate. Thanks to the standard plug-and-play system, the system is easy to integrate and ready for use from minute one.
    In simple cases, the electrical interfaces are provided by a few contacts. Various bus systems or more complex protocols are used here to map and document the wealth of data. This is done with the aim of announcing maintenance work at an early stage. Thanks to the intelligent control system, operation is intuitive and uncomplicated.
