    With its patented automatic pneumatic backwash filter system, the StingR® can be easily integrated into various system concepts and can also be used as a stand-alone filter for a wide range of applications. The pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical controls are mounted directly on the filter. The system is self-sufficient and Industry 4.0-capable thanks to sensor monitoring. The contaminated medium enters the filter dome from below and the dirt is deposited directly on the filter element. The cleaned medium flows into the inside of the filter and from there into a clean tank or directly to the processing machine.

    The backwashing process is demand-controlled using our patented pneumatic-hydraulic system, which reactivates almost 100 % of the filter surface. The StingR® is tailored precisely to your requirements and works without filter aids. The flexible selection of the appropriate filter element ensures precise filtration with filter finenesses of up to 2 µm. Thanks to the plug-and-play system, the system can be easily integrated into your existing machine concept.

Properties

The StingR® is a fully automatic backwash filter system that can be integrated into system concepts or used as a separate filter for various applications. The automatic filter gives you maximum flexibility and excellent results with filter finenesses from 2 to 20 µm.

A special feature is that the pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical controls are located directly on the filter. The system is equipped with all the necessary valve technology in both the supply and return lines, functions autonomously and is Industry 4.0-capable thanks to sensor monitoring. Each filter dome is monitored individually.

    A pump is used to let the contaminated medium into the filter dome from below. The dirt is deposited on the filter element. The cleaned medium reaches the inside of the filter, where it is discharged and collected in a clean tank or made immediately available to the processing machine directly via a high-pressure line.

    The entire StingR® system has an electrical and pneumatic control system. If a filter element is contaminated, this is detected fully automatically by the differential pressure sensor and backwashing of the system is triggered. The backwashing process is demand-controlled via a patented pneumatic-hydraulic system. It is only triggered when it is really necessary, which makes the system particularly efficient. By means of a short compressed air pulse on a liquid reservoir, the dirt adhering to the filter element is literally knocked out of the pores of the filter surface and discharged as concentrate. This reactivates almost 100 % of the filter surface. Thanks to fully automatic recleaning, your personnel, reject and disposal costs are reduced, while the quality of your production increases.

    Thanks to the custom-fit design, filtering is process-related without the use of filter aids. The selection of the right filter element also enables different filter finenesses depending on your process. You enjoy maximum flexibility and are also securely positioned for the future (Industry 4.0) with the StingR®.

    Thanks to the plug-and-play system (PnP), the system can be easily integrated into your machine concept with just 3 connection points and is quickly ready for operation.

    Maintenance
    The StingR® is characterized by its robustness and extremely long service life - even in demanding ultra-fine particle applications. The entire system is designed to be extremely easy to maintain and service, while wear parts are easily accessible and extremely durable. A dirty filter element can be easily replaced in less than a minute by trained personnel.

    The intelligent control system provides information about service and maintenance intervals at an early stage, which allows maintenance to be planned and carried out during non-operating times, for example.

    Our expertise in the field of filtration is unique. In order to understand filtration and the process behind it in detail and to optimize your processes, we have manufactured a glass filter dome that makes filtration visible. This enables precise observation of dirt particles and clearly shows the automatic backwashing process.
