The coalescence separator systems are extremely space-saving and are mainly used to separate tramp oils from cooling lubricants. These separators can be flexibly and easily integrated into central liquid containers. The system works fully automatically and is Industry 4.0-capable.
These separators are mainly used on central liquid containers. The tramp oil floating on the surface of the contaminated medium is extracted using a special pump and a floating suction system.
The extracted liquid enters the oil separator through an inlet and is passed through separating plate flow systems.
The system is filled with plastic bodies which are located in a collection basket. The oil particles in the liquid accumulate on the plastic bodies and form larger droplets. If the droplets are large enough, they rise to the top and collect on the surface.
The floating oil is drained separately by an overflow system. The drain for the clean medium is located at the end of the separating plate flow system. This is separated from the oil by a partition plate. The cleaned liquid and the oil are discharged separately.
This process achieves a degree of purification of the medium of up to 99 %. If required, the system can be manufactured in stainless steel and is therefore corrosion-resistant.
