The magnetic conveying system primarily uses natural energy sources that are freely available in the environment. Properties

The magnetic conveyor consists of powerful permanent magnets, which are attached to a chain and run under a stainless steel sheet. Ferromagnetic chips that fall onto the sheet are discharged from the process using these permanent magnets.

These systems are used when pure ferromagnetic processing takes place, i.e. when only magnetic particles or chips are produced. Our magnetic conveyors are often used in gear cutting machines with large quantities of chips, for example in processes such as gear milling.

The magnetic conveyor is used flexibly as a dry or wet conveyor, discharges chips almost vertically from the system and can therefore be used in the smallest of installation spaces.

The magnetic conveyor is equipped with roller chains as standard, which means that each chain link has a separate roller. This distributes the wear caused by rolling in the chain to each individual link and does not just occur at one pivot point. Our durable conveyors are available to you for the entire life cycle of the processing machine in multi-shift operation.

The special guide system ensures that the chains are held down and ensures safe, trouble-free discharge.

The deflections over which the chains run are made of special wear-resistant materials and minimize the rolling resistance that occurs. This enables the use of very economical geared motors and makes the system particularly energy-efficient.

The magnetic conveyor is suitable for fluid applications as the drive and chain area is completely encapsulated from the processing machine. The stainless steel sheet prevents foreign oils or similar from entering the chain area. The liquid that reaches the conveyor with the chips is removed from the system via side-mounted separator plates.

Areas of application

Our sedimentation tank with scraper discharge system is suitable for a wide range of applications, especially in situations where the chip/sludge has a higher density than the surrounding fluid. This allows the particles to physically sink to the bottom and creates calm in the process. The system is not only suitable for machining processes, but also for high-pressure water cutting machines, among others.
