The extent of climate change can be felt worldwide. Due to the high emissions of CO2 (greenhouse gas), the greenhouse effect continues to increase and the earth is warming up. This in turn has many different negative effects on our environment. The aim is to make our contribution to reducing CO2 in the atmosphere.
In our eyes, a company has a great responsibility as part of the environment and society, which means, for example, conserving resources, raw materials or capital or improving their quality. In concrete terms, this means that while profits are certainly important to ensure security, stability and consistency for the stakeholders concerned (employees, customers, suppliers, etc.), they are not the sole focus and can never be the only (or primary) goal.

Our values always come first. "Profit has never been the most important thing for us; we have always wanted to save the world with our products. Above all, we aim to bring the best products to the market that offer the greatest benefit to the customer and are particularly sustainable and environmentally friendly," explains Titus Lehmann. Profits are necessary to be able to do business, act in a socially sustainable manner and keep employees happy. But the responsibility of entrepreneurial activity goes far beyond this.
We maintain long-term and sustainable partnerships with our stakeholders, provide support through unique 360° service and pursue the stakeholder approach.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every phase of our production. We consistently focus on the reuse and recycling of materials, such as scrap metal, used filter cartridges and packaging material (e.g. by shredding pallets).
We also invest in energy-saving measures, including LED lamps, hot water solar systems, wood chip heating, triple-glazed windows and photovoltaic systems on the roofs of Lehmann-UMT.
By using environmentally friendly technologies and renewable energy sources, we are significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
With our products, we set standards in terms of sustainability and efficiency. Our filter systems in particular are characterized not only by their durability, but also by maximum energy efficiency.
All systems from Lehmann-UMT are extremely wear-resistant and extend the service life of your tools, processing machines and their cooling lubricants. They not only reduce waste and thus the volume of waste disposal, but also contribute to greater sustainability within your processes. You also reduce the amount of maintenance and service work required on the systems.
With our systems, we guarantee you the highest quality in your production process and actively support you in protecting limited resources. Our flawless filtration ensures dry filter cakes and recyclable filter sludge, allowing residual materials to be fed back into the production process - so you can use your cooling lubricants for longer.
Our systems are designed in such a way that service work can be carried out easily and quickly thanks to easily accessible filter elements and a maintenance-friendly design. Our products also impress with their outstanding service life.
For example, we specifically reduce the amount of waste produced during the filtration process, promote the reuse of cooling lubricants and offer various recycling options for filter cartridges.
With the help of an internal research and development center, we are actively committed to understanding the challenges of climate change and developing innovative solutions.
